Dans Le Noir?, Clerkenwell
Have you seen About Time? If you haven’t, this is the renowned restaurant where you dine in pitch black, being served by visually-impaired waiters. It’s quite a shock to the system but it’s an interesting experience. With the menu also being vague, you won’t even know what you’re eating until it’s in your mouth! You can only order specific colours, red for meat, blue for fish, etc.
How much: From £60 per person
Where: Dans Le Noir at 69-73 St John Street, London, EC1M 4NJ.
The Clink, Brixton
Want to experience what it’s like being in a prison? At The Clink, you’ll be served high quality food by the inmates at His Majesty’s Prison. Expect European cuisine, good service, and a story you’ll be able to tell your friends about for the rest of your life. All jokes aside, it’s a charity that intends to help inmates find jobs in food once released.
How much: From £40 per person
Where: HMP BRIXTON, Jebb Avenue, Brixton, SW2 5XF
